Evoca SpA has qualified according to the SMETA 4-Pillars audit methodology: that’s what it is about.

In 2019, Evoca SpA joined Sedex, a cooperation platform for purchasers and suppliers used by over 50,000 members in over 150 countries, designed to share information and data on working standards, health and safety, with the purpose of boosting improvement through ethical and responsible business practices.

Joining Sedex offers the opportunity to undergo the SMETA audit (an acronym standing for Sedex Member Ethical Trade Audit), which is based on 4 different areas (Pillars): working standards, business ethics, health and safety at work and environmental protection.

Evoca SpA has been audited by the DNV GL independent bodies in the plants of Valbrembo, Mozzo and Mapello. At first, Evoca SpA filled in a self-assessment questionnaire. Then, DNV GL visited the plants and interviewed several samples selected among workers and employees, both individually and in groups of four.

The SMETA 4-Pillars audit was carried out on 5th and 6th June, and the outcome was positive since no non-compliance was found out.

An important result confirming Evoca at the forefront of Sustainability and guaranteeing to our customers that their business partner is observing a strict code of ethics, validated by a reliable and independent organisation.
